I was born 49 years ago and have been close to music since childhood. As a young man, I decided I wanted to become a DJ. **My professional start** came in 1993. That’s when I fully committed to mixing and creating music for discos and club events. My distinctive style and energetic performances quickly won me popularity, and I gradually became a familiar face in the local club circuit. **During my career**, I had the amazing opportunity to travel and perform on various stages. These experiences enriched me immensely, not just musically but also as a person. I learned to feel the crowd’s energy, and my mixing skills became my trademark, propelling me to the top of the local DJ scene. **After years spent in the prime of my career**, I felt in 2008 that it was time for a change. I decided to end my active DJ career and devote myself to other interests and responsibilities. Though I no longer play at major events today, my passion for music and mixing still burns within me. **I’m still part of** our local music community, and I’m proud of what I’ve achieved for DJ culture. It all started back in the 80's when I casually collected 12" records beginning in the 7th/8th grade (yes, seriously); eventually, I got the DJ bug in '92 while I was stationed in the Air Force in Germany. Born & raised in Chicago, I grew up listening to the usual suspects in the Chicago House scene (Ron, Frankie, Farley, etc.) but, the truth is, I was exposed to multiple genres of music (jazz, funk, blues, country, reggae, etc.) from the time I was 1st able to process it to the present. I can switch it up from Disco to House to Techno to Drum & Bass & anything/everything in between at the drop of a hat; it's all about what I'm feelin' at the moment. If this sounds like something U can roll with, then it is very fortunate we have crossed paths and you are most welcome 2 find what suits your tastes here.
